AAPLAC-L is a discussion list for members and friends of the Association of Academic Programs in Latin America and the Caribbean (AAPLAC). Posts may include official organization and Annual Conference announcements, as well as non-commercial topics of general interest to AAPLAC members and others involved with study abroad in Latin America and the Caribbean. Examples of acceptable use include the following: Official organizational news and notices (eg, AAPLAC Board membership, website updates, etc) Annual Conference announcements (eg, calls for proposals, site announcements, schedule and logistical information, etc) Safety and security information (eg, notices of Travel Alerts and Travel Warnings published by the US Department of State or similar organizations) Relevant news and information about Latin America and the Caribbean (in particular, articles related to education, cultural exchange and study abroad in the region) Messages of a commercial or self-promotional nature are not currently permitted on AAPLAC-L. All messages submitted to AAPLAC-L are subject to moderation and require approval of the list moderator prior to posting. To post a message to all the list members, send email to aaplac-l@lists.aaplac.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to aaplac-l
Subscribe to aaplac-l by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
